The Coborn RG5B-XD manual grinding machine from Precision International Corp. is for producing PCD and PCBN cutting tools. The grinder offers 1-micron wheel infeed resolution, 200° pivot motion, conical clearance up to 25° with a single hand wheel, adjustable grinding pressure and up to 35mm tool radius capability. The operator can set wheel speed, wheel direction, stroke position and stroke amplitude from the touch-screen control for later recall.
