The INTEGREX j-300 aims to bring the benefits of multi-tasking to a wider subcontracting audience, in particular those who continue to use conventional CNC machining equipment, such as driven tool lathes.
The machining centre can reduce a two-machine process down to one machine, with consequent reductions in the number of man hours required and the amount of programming involved.
The INTEGREX j-300 features a milling (B-axis) capable of 12,000 rpm and a 22 kW machining/milling spindle along with a main 4,000 rpm (18.5 kW) turning spindle.
The machine is capable of feed rates of 50 m/min (both X and Z-axes) and 40 m/min on the Y-axis. The INTEGREX j-300 also has an X-axis stroke of 615 mm and a Y-axis stroke of 250 mm. Z-axis movement is 695 mm.
The B-axis fitted to INTEGREX j series machines has 220° of movement in 5° increments. Facing the chuck it can position at 30° above the machine's central axis and facing away from the chuck it can achieve 10°.
