Allied Mineral Technical Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, completed its first project as a new corporation in December 2010 with a hot blast stove rebuild.
Allied Mineral provides refractory systems support for blast furnaces, hot blast stoves and cupolas. It offers value added technical assistance for blast furnaces and cupolas.
Allied Mineral provides customers engineering and design services, including hearth monitoring and modeling, failure diagnostics, furnace operation optimization, advanced cooling systems, refractory selection, and problem analysis and integrated solutions. The company’s field services cover emergency responsiveness, analysis of melt practices, training and on-site supervision and assistance for core drilling, grouting, installation and maintenance.
