Experience More, which ran from the 16th to 19th November 2010, attracted more than 400 visitors from across the UK and Europe with a range of industrial sectors in attendance including aerospace, oil and gas, power generation, automotive, construction, medical and general subcontracting.
Firm orders were received for the Integrex j-200, which was used in a live component cutting demonstration; the UK-built VTC800/30SR vertical machining centre, the Quick Turn Nexus 200-II MY and the Quick Turn Smart 200.
In addition, strong enquiries have been received for the Integrex e-670H, the Variaxis 630-5X II multi-tasking machine, the VTC-800/30SR vertical machining centre and the Nexus 5000-II horizontal machining centre.
UK sales director Tony Saunders commented: "Overall, Experience More was an enormous success for us, both in terms of attendances and orders. Attendees were very positive about the economic outlook and were ready to discuss investment plans for expected new contacts or their plans to improve productivity and competitiveness, all of which bodes well for the coming year."
