In 2013, Taiwanese machinery export decreased by 7% as investors and corporation owners around the world were particularly cautious to make investment and so reduce purchase orders of machinery. However this year economics of the ASEAN, the USA and the EU get better and so the Taiwanese machinery export is expected to grow. 

According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, exports in the first two months of 2014 increase significantly. The annual growth rate reaches 7.5% and the accumulated machinery production index is 5% up comparing to the same period of last year. Thanks to the global economic recovery, Taiwanese machinery sector looks very promising. Manufacturers who keep their technology development and get ready for the recovery will certainly stay a step ahead of competition. The Taiwan industry contributes about 60% of the Taiwan export.
