Positive results for the twelfth edition of MECSPE, the International trade show about technologies for innovation that recently ended in the pavilions of Fiere di Parma (Parma Fairground) and that was able to combine exhibitors and visitors needs, showing the concept of the “factory of the future”, that is a company that must be intelligent, automated, computerized and very functioning. MECSPE will be back from the 27th to the 29th March 2014 for its thirteenth edition.
This event with one thousand exhibitors proves itself to be an appointment under the sign of the dynamism, internationalization, high technological quality of the contents and able to respond concretely to the needs of entrepreneurs and of the Italian manufacturing industry. Companies, research centres, associations and universities, through the exhibition and the organization of ad hoc initiatives, expressed the best from the technology and innovation point of view with the positive opinion of many exhibitors coming from Italy and foreign countries.
The dynamism of MECSPE emerges above all from the initiatives concerning working machines - an aspect with an essential role for the success of the event, as Senaf (the organizational institution of the exhibition) considers - which gave visitors the chance to “touch” all the innovative solutions for the improvement of their company production. During the three days of the trade show, as a matter of fact, the entrepreneurs could attend ad hoc initiatives, such as the Demonstrative Units from Project to Object and the Working Isles. The first ones put up the creation of an original item starting from its planning up to its realization and were addressed to different sectors, like motorsport, art and aerospace. The Working Isles, on the other hand, also with working machines, developed particular machining themes in the sphere of plastic materials and mechanics for sectors like aerospace, automotive, medical and dental.
In the Excellence Squares the protagonists are the end product and the sector innovation: in these areas it was showed the best of production, expertise and skill of ‘make research’ of the made in Italy in very different sectors, such as motorsport and industrial planning with a particular attention to design subjects; the innovation within machining processes and the surface treatment of metals and alloys; the optimization of company processes and production cycles through technological innovations, the rapid manufacturing, the RFID technology and the simulation thanks to a software.
“MECSPE was born in order to promote the technological innovation within the mechanics and sub-supply sector, an essential division for the manufacturing industry – explains Maruska Sabato, MECSPE project manager –. Thanks to an internal survey, we discovered that the solution of the so-called business networks is more and more appreciated: an instrument that allows companies to share experience and know-how, reinforcing further their own position on the markets. And precisely to respond to this information longing, in the sphere of our exhibition, competences exchange, training and internationalization were the organization drivers”.
In this perspective is particularly interesting the area dedicated to the protection of the industrial ownership, where professionals put at companies’ disposal free advices in the field of brands and patents.
What about the training part, besides many conferences and workshops, this year MECSPE was preceded by the first edition of the Gear Forum, two days of conferences and workshops dedicated to the gears and transmissions division with the participation of a copious public. An international event, where players, end users and first level suppliers had the chance to confront themselves about the future applications in the sphere of gears and power transmissions.
Also during this edition, the foreign countries represented an important component part, thanks to the presence of delegations of buyers coming from European and Non-EU countries, who joined the usual foreign visitors of the event. Buyers delegations at the exhibition: Brazil, Korea, France, Germany, India, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.
